Breath and Bearing is a 12 x 15 abstract painting in blue gray, dark titanium white, and black acrylic ink. I cut a custom white mat for it, and framed it in white.
This piece like a breath caught mid-motion. Soft, ground, a single arc of intent, and that dark dot anchoring everything like a thought you can't quite let go of. This piece really took on a life of its own after adding the blue/gray next to the dark titanium white. The black dot and sweeping lines were added with the black acrylic ink to tie it all together for a soft, yet poignant piece of art.
