Inferno Bloom is a 12 x 15 alcohol ink piece that could be described as a flower painting, however it has a fiery, molten, almost eruptive energy to it! Alcohol inks are so interesting as they definitely have a mind of their own but create some amazing shapes! And, depending on if you are laying them on dry yupo paper, or laying down some rubbing alcohol first, they allow you to manipulate them into the shapes you want! I layered this to become flower-like, but then it took on its own life and erupted into something really beautiful! I customer matted it in black, and framed it back as well.
