Fiber and Flame is a fun, interesting piece of mixed media art that started out with a green acrylic wash on cold pressed watercolor paper. It begged for more!!!!!
I added yellowy orange and black mulberry paper, strategically torn to shapes, and then added black acrylic ink to finish it off! It's attached to a black mat, and framed in black as well.
This piece feels earthy, a little wild, and almost like forms emerging from shadow. It has such unique qualities which truly make it one of a kind.
Please note: This piece only comes with nonglare plexiglass.
