The Quiet Landscape is an 11 3/4 x 14 3/4 acrylic abstract painting that captures the warmth and quiet richness of the natural world. Starting with an olive green acrylic wash, I built upon the base with Unbleached titanium acrylic paint mixed with sand for texture, dark titanium, black, and black acrylic ink, creating a composition that feels both spontaneous and deeply considered. The vertical forms rise like weathered trees, distant cliffs, or shafts of afternoon light filtering through a woodland. I hand cut the black mat, and framed in black for a dramatic finish. Note: This frame has a built in stand to give more displaying options.
