Whispers of stone is an 11 3/4 x 14 3/4 abstract painting that literally looks like stone, as I put sand in the paint which gave it texture! I started with a black acrylic wash which set the tone for soft, yet bold areas. This quietly dramatic painting was built upon using unbleached titanium, titanium wash, black acrylic paint, and black acrylic ink. It's a sophisticated and contemplative painting with layers that bring you in to it's depth. I custom matted it in black, along with a black frame. Note: This frame comes with an attached stand, so it gives alternatives to display!
