The Brightening is a 12 x 12 acrylic painting on 1 1/2" gallery wrapped canvas. This is a mid range hue of a grove of trees, maybe in the fall. With the depth of the trees in the back being darker, and the up front trees shining in the sunlight, I think this painting is both serene and exciting! I add a stiffening agent to the acrylic paint to give it texture, which also helps with dimension.
