Both the trunks of the aspen trees and the golden leaves on the trees and on the ground have a wonderful texture to them - I add acrylic paint additive to give it the feel of a real tree! This painting is very calm, and a feeling as if you are walking through a grove of trees in the late night, with the moon shining bright over it - probably a harvest moon which lights your way through the trees!
