Splintered Quiet is a 12 1/2 x 15 1/2 mixed media piece featuring white mulberry paper, torn "just so" and paired with coconut husk, custom matted in black, and framed in an oak frame.
Splintered Quiet is just that - a quiet piece that moves your eye around it and lands in the downward movement of the coconut husk. I pulled a bit out over the mat for texture, and I think this piece would land beautifully on a dark wall to bring out it's comfort and quiet.
